lately, everything seems to bore me. i think i just need a change in environment and routine. or, as someone mentioned to me last time, it's just a mind-set, if i think everything is boring, then it is. maybe, just maybe, i'll change sooner or later.

for now my main focus is to keep my head in the game (or exam or whatever). i'm sorry cos i haven't been updating.

and finally, i'm sorry to all my friends, for being so distant this past few weeks. i just had a lot in my mind, and was mentally exhausted.

Double Rainbow!

this post is just gonna focus on why i haven't been updating this blog. other than that, interesting things that have been happening throughout the period of time.

Okay, one of the reason is that I've been busy with preparation of an event which is "the 1st International Cross-Cultural Night" which was held last Saturday (12th March 2011). Since I'm under logistic, I'm the one who's doing the set-up and arrangement and etc. stuff so yea.

the event went well (though i didn't get to eat anything during that event). everyone of the guest was happy and all went well (except for some misunderstanding and such which is normal in events like this)

after the event was done, it was the preparation of Earth hour at UBD which is organized by EXCO. everything went well, all plans are going nicely UNTIL, the higher ranking people in UBD finds something they don't like about the event. so since they want major changes, the head of EXCO decided not to run the event. yes, everyone was disappointed, i was too.

Anyway, might as well end this post with something that got stuck to everyone for the past week, it's this song called "Double Rainbow". the song is just so catchy that everyone fell in love with it on the first time hearing it hahahaha.

The first time i heard this song was in a store in one of the mall in KK. I fell in love with it. It touches me at the soft spot in my heart.

Busy busy busy

All right, most importantly, i'm sorry cos i haven't been updating this blog in a while. Been very, very busy with stuff to do.

Mainly I was busy with presentations to do; for MIB & Economy and Society of Brunei Darussalam.

Other than that, I've joined an executives in PMUBD which is International Relations & Cultures Executives (IRC) and currently we're handling the UBD Open Day and for today, it's been running according to plan. I hope tomorrow it'll be better.

anyway,about MIB presentation, it took me about a week or so to finalise everything. and actually, it can be done in a few days. the only problem is that there's just too much points and i don't know where to put it.

i am happy with the outcome, our tutorial lecturer was happy with it, no complaints and all. my main focus now is the poster presentation for E&S *sigh*

smarter than your average bear

To start off today's post, i woke up early cos i have a group discussion thingy for a poster presentation sometime next week. so we have decided on Hotpoint in Gadong as our meeting point, where we're meeting a guy who's gonna prepare the poster for us. at the same time, we have to discuss about the content since our lecturer kinda changed her mind on what we're suppose to do.

anyway, discussion kinda ended late, so when everyone left, i was thinking of hanging around at the mall for a while. I was gonna go straight back home, but seeing that there's nothing to do at home anyways, so to the movie i went.

I thought, maybe the green hornet is still on, but sadly, no longer it is there. Next thing that was available for me to watch was, Yogi Bear and it's airing in 1 hour time. I posted up on facebook if there's anyone who wanna watch it with me BUT after waiting for half an hour, there's still no response from anyone.

So yea, I bought the ticket which turns out to be in the 3D cinema! Yes, i heard comments from everyone about how it's not really worth it and all, and guess what, I AGREE! I mean, c'mon! the screen is not wide enough, seats kinda far away and bla bla bla.

Anyway, back to the movie. The storyline is okay i guess, still with the 'smaaarter than the average bear' theme. I am kinda disappointed for a fact that Yogi bear, doesn't sound like Yogi bear at all *sigh*

Oh, and I agree with a friend when he said that the 3D effect kinda give me a headache. I do prefer the 3D effect back in UK where it's just awesome and worth the money.

gloomy, gloomy days

somedays, early in the morning, it is so gloomy that it feels like night, the temperature would drop until around, i don't know, maybe 20 degree Celsius (which is not normal for Brunei). It makes me wanna curl up in bed and sleep till noon. so yea, good old winter in Brunei.

these pictures are taken early in the morning, around 7+ (which is usually bright). the first picture is blue cos i forgot to adjust the lighting but yo can tell how dark it is. so yea, that's how the morning is around here lately =)

It was first released in 1997. It was a global sensation. Everyone got something from it. You name it, they got it; trading cards, VCDs (it was VCD back then), figurines etc.

Obviously you know what I mean. Everyone used to love it, some still does until today. Why I'm talking about this now? Cos a friend of mine lend me the complete season 1 of it =D

I remember back then when i was still a kid, i used to rush home from school, only because i wanna watch Chinese drama on TV3. this song is from one of the series i watched. ahhhh, the good old days~
